Individual Membership

The Institute has different grades of membership that commensurate the varying levels of seniority and professional experiences in the industry.

Chartered Fellow (FCILT)

Chartered Fellow is the highest professional membership grade of the Institute. It is awarded to eminent individuals who have contributed significantly to the industry.
Chartered Fellows carry a post-nominal FCILT.

Chartered Member (CMILT)

Chartered Member is the entry level professional membership grade of the Institute. It is awarded to individuals who have met the minimum academic and professional practice requirements of the institute. Chartered Members carry a post-nominal CMILT.

Member (MILT)

Member of the Institute is the entry level non-professional membership grade of the Institute.
Members of the Institute carry a post-nominal MILT.

Affiliate Member

Affiliate Members are individuals who have interests in the logistics and transportation industries but may have not meet the minimum academic or practice experience requirements to become a member.
